My approach to coaching

I coach business leaders who are going through a role transition, setting a new direction or facing particularly difficult challenges. My approach is based on building deep relationships with my clients which allow me to truly act as a thought partner leading to improved individual performance and demonstrable organisational benefit.  I’m able to offer a protected space to think and am unafraid of asking the difficult question.

Meyler-Campbell trained, I combine my natural empathy with strong business insight allowing me to work effectively across a broad range of commercial contexts.   I challenge and support my clients enabling them to develop self-awareness, build resilience, unlock potential and perform better.

Examples of recent coaching outcomes

  • ExCo member asked at short notice to step up to CEO; coaching focused on helping them to re-frame their self-diagnosed imposter syndrome and gave them the thinking space to refine their strategy and plans for organisation-wide cultural reset
     

  • Newly appointed director needed trusted partner to bounce ideas off and work through relationship difficulties with peers in a safe space
     

  • Previously high-performing divisional CEO had hit a road block with company performance; they used coaching to re-prioritise and re-focus their agenda before returning the business to growth
